I went with Holmes on this one...Even though I ama a huge fan of Jack...point is....Dempsey was a brawler and very unrefined....he relied on sheer brutality...his defense was that of a different era and unpolished......Larry would have just moved and used his jab safely.....I see no KO just a UD....Holmes would eat some hard shots though

Dempsey wouldn't even be a Heavyweight by todays standards Holmes would put a beat down on Dempsey by using that piston jab and stop him by tko in 9th round.

If that, Holmes was much too big for Dempsey. People gotta think about how big these recent heavies are in comparison.

No today he would not be a HW that is true but we have to go by where they spent their careers....and at the time Holmes was champion Jack would have been a HW.......Jack was tough....The jab would be Holmes equalizer that is certain but I think Jack would give a better account then you are giving him credit for

I don't think so Tunney outboxed Dempsey and Holmes was quicker had better jab than Tunney and was bigger i don't really know how Dempsey could really make good account of himself i think it would be a bit of a mismatch to be honest.
