Greatest Heavyweight of All-Time, Round 1: Floyd Patterson vs. Evander Holyfield

First to ten gets the final quaterfinal spot.

I had to go with Evander....Both he and Patterson were small HW fighters but Evander could hange with the big 6'5 guys unlike Patterson who was KO'd against power hitters....Great fight indeeed but in the end Holy would wear him down in an all out back and forth battle

Holyfield by tko in 9th this would be good fight while it lasted though.

Close decision, but I chose Evander out of respect to his choice of opponents. He seemed like he was trying to fight everyone and anyone.

Patterson beats Holyfield easily by a horribly lopsided decision, or just knocked out by one of Patterson's flurries of combinations to Evander's head.




This fight would be a complete joke. "Prime," Holyfield lost his ass to Bowe twice, and the legendary Michael Moorer once."


These two names should ever be mentioned in the same sentence again.

Holyfield wins KO 11th round Patterson taking a brave beating. Prime Bowe i.e when he fought Holyfield in their first fight was better than Patterson.
