Need Routine...
Hi, Im going to Start Boxing soon, but i need routine to do so i can get in tip top shape when i get the Boxing Gym (Broke right now) but yea, i been Running for 40 mins and doing Push-up and Sit-ups... Im 18 165 and bout 5'8( Do you think its to late for me to Start?)
So yea i need a good routine before i start, and i been using Ankle weights, do you think i should stop using it?

Add a jump rope routine.
Also do burpees...........

As for the ankle weight I guess it depends on what you are using them for. Can you give a few more details? What makes you think you might want to stop using them? Noticed any pain?

I use them to become faster...
and i get a lil pain in my shins....

I wouldn't use them if you get pain in your shins - you might get shin splints which can be a bugger to get over.
There are a lot of better ways to train speed. You'll find some in the Useful Posts section of Ask The Trainer.
