Must see, Calderon vs Cazares!!

I have been surprised with some posts in the past of people saying that they had never seen fights in the lower divisions (105, 108). There is a lot of talent there and tonight you can not miss Calderon moving up from 105 to 108 to challenge Hugo Cazares. Calderon selected the hardest way to move up and this promises to be a great fight between a master boxer and puncher.

Initially I was thinking on Cazares stopping Calderon, but after watching all the sacrifice that Cazares had done to make the weight and how inspired Calderon looks, I am changing my mind. I think that Calderon wins by UD or by TKO with Cazares quiting the fight due to frustration of not touching Calderon. A continuation of Duran vs Leonard II and the famous, No Mas (No more).

Is anyone watching this fight today and what results do you expect?

I would like to watch this...does anyone know if its televised or if theres a stream? I am prdicting a Cazares KO he's too big 6" on height and he's naturally heavier. Plus he's on a six year unbeaten streak. If Calderon wins I'll be shocked.

I agree. Cazares has a significant physical advantage over Calderon and that is what makes this fight so risky for Calderon. However, what makes me think is all the sacrifice Cazares made to lose weight and he will need a lot of energy trying to catch Calderon who will be trying to make Cazares miss his punches and connect. If Cazares get tired, I think Calderon can frustrate him.

Man Calderson is P4P one of the lightest punchers in boxing history IMO./ Should be a good fight though

This is one of the things that makes the fight more complicated for Calderon, only 6 KO in 28 wins (21% KO). I think if he had more power Calderon could stop Cazares with his counter attack. I'm sure Cazares will not have any respect for Calderon's power and will be over him all the time looking for the KO. Calderon will need his boxing skills at his maximum.

Moving up from 105 to 108. That sounds daunting. ;)
