Vegas Hotels any advice would be great.

Just looking for a bit of advice from any Vegas residents or anyone who goes alot and knows the Hotels. I have booked my flights and im going on 05/12/07 returning on the 12/12/07, now there is two of us going to be staying in the one room, and were looking to pay between $400-$450 tops each, now what would be the best option we would like a Hotel on the strip close to where all the action is. Anyone got any ideas? I have looked at Paris Hotel and that seems reasnable but any other options would be great cheers guys.

My advice (and take it from a guy who has been to vegas dozens of times)....If you guys can get a rental car you would be better suited on getting a hotel on the edge of town......There are a lot of decent places that are not to highly priced....woth the 15min drive to the strip when you compare it in the long run
