Jose Luis Lopez is possibly the most underrated man in this tournament. In 97 he faced then undefeated Ike Quartey and put him down twice in rout to a draw. He was only the second man to KO the always dangerous Campas. He was the WBO champion and had a reccord of 39-3-1 (30KOs)
Ricky Hatton has an impressive reccord of 43-0 (31KOs). It is true that only one of those wins was at the 147 pound division. But time will tell if this great champion will make his mark at the Welterweight division. In that win he captured the WBA Welterweight title.

It's ridicules to think Hatton even has a chance against iron-jawed Lopez. Lopez would dismantle him in 2 rounds

I agree 100%. I was not even shure if Hatton should've been in this tournament. I certanly did not think he would get passed Lopez.
It's likely not many people even know about Lopez. He was not that popular.
