90s vs 2000s WW Round 1 Shane Mosley vs Oba Carr
By 2002 Mosley was considered by many the P4P king. He had convincingly defeated Oscar De la Hoya and captured the WBC title. His record at the time was a great one, 38-0 (35KOs). A remarkably fast handed fighter with power to go with it. He had made his mark as a Lightweight and was taking the Welterweight division by storm.
Oba Carr could have been a champion in most other eras. But in the 90s it was not meant to be. By 1999 his record was a very impressive 48-3 (28KOs). Those 3 losses came at the hands of Trinidad, Quartey and De la Hoya. In each one of those fights he performed like a champion having floored Trinidad and given Oscar one of his toughest tests at the time.

Mosley wins this. Mosley was Top 2 or 3 PFP in the world for a while at 147. Carr was just a solid contender.
Mosley by late stoppage or wide UD
