Latest Manny Pac updates

Apparently,Manny's training is going well. Here are some quotes and bits of info I've come across from lots of different sites:

Roach made it clear that Barrera “is a tough guy and if you dont respect him and come out of shape or something like that, thats the only way he can win the fight” against Pacquiao. He added that a one hundred percent Manny “which he will be for this fight will walk right over this guy (Barrera).

Pacquiao went eleven rounds straight on the punch-mitts on Thursday without a break and even a sip of water. Roach said Pacquiao told him "let's go and I said okay because I like to work too.Roach indicated he didn't want Pacquiao to overtrain and occassionally steps in to hold back his prized fighter who wants to push himself beyond the limit.

So it sounds to me like the sumours about Pac's training being bad were BS or were true at the time but things are better now? I have not heard anything from the MAB camp for a while but that usually happens with MAB.

I still favour a 100% fully focussed Manny over any version of MAB that enters the ring that night.

News regarding distractions of Pacquaio's training is true. Roach decided to take things into his hand at Wakee Salud's GYm in Cebu, Philippines because people were distracting Manny as they would oftentimes request for a picture taking.

Roach got mad and even threatened to bring Manny to the Wild Card Gym if the policies regarding visitors are not changed.

The bout is about a month away. Pac is currently @ 136 and they're way ahead of schedule. Is there such thing as "overtrained"?

Is that bad?

Of course Pac will be 100% for this fight. He would be a bit silly if he wasnt.

I pay little heed to any of these Pac rumours. Pac should be expected to be 100% regardless of any windmill rumours.

Are you being serious? Of course there is such a thing as being over trained. Just like a fighter may not train enough for a fight,he may peak and train too much,wearing himself out before the fight. Timing is everything.

They need to slowdown on physical part then, and watch last 4 MAB video fights. Study them.

overtrained will only really be a facotr to someone who spends most of their time out of shape... or in good shape but train beyond their limits for a mega fight, pac has always been in amazing shape and wont come in overrained, much like hopkins and mayweather...

but you got to take anythign this guy says with a pinch of salt, you wont find a pac thread on the internet without him posting in it to try and big pac up.
