< Edwin Valero attacked outside a club in Venezuela >

A Venezualan newspaper is reporting that WBA Champ Edwin Valero suffered a cut on his forehead after a knife attack outside a disco in his hometown of Merida, Venezuala, situated high in the Venezuelan Andes. According to the Pico Bolivar, Valero was talking with some friends about 3AM Sunday morning in front of the "Racing Bar Discoteca" when they were assaulted by unknown assailants.

Valero is a fantastic fighter.

I think the guy with the knife is a big fan of Edwin Valero. He was trying to operate Valero's head and remove the blood clot from his brain so he can fight in the US. ;D
