WBC super featherweight champion Juan Manuel Marquez displays his injured right hand with manager/trainer Ignacio "Nacho" Beristain. Marquez and Beristain surfaced on Tuesday at the Maywood Boxing Club in Maywood, California. Marquez' title defense against Rocky Juarez has been rescheduled for November 3.

I'm glad the fight still goes ahead. If Juarez had lost out after giving up his featherweight title shot that would have been unfair. My money lies with Marquez to outbox him over 12 though. I like Juarez, but I don't think he's quite as good as the top 3 super-feathers to compete. At Feather, he would be a world champion, but he's after the money and prestige of beating the bigger name, and you can't fault that attitude really.
