The most dominant college player that anybody has ever witnessed. He even combined his absurd athleticism with flawless mechanics en route to leading the nation in passing.

...I didn't forget Michael Vick, remember this TOMMIE FRAZIER WAS BETTER....better passing, better running, better at everything the only reason he didn't make it in the NFL was because he had blood clots in his legs and had to stop football altogether

TOMMIE FRAZIER WAS BETTER....better passing, better running, better at everything the only reason he didn't make it in the NFL was because he had blood clots in his legs and had to stop football altogether
I liked Tommie Frazier, but lets get real. He was not better than Michael Vick. While the blood clots were true. Frazier was never considered a first round draft pick anyway. Much less be the first player picked overall like Vick. Defenses were set up to try and stop Vick. But they couldn't do that with Frazier cuz they had Lawrence Phillips and Ahman Green to deal with. Frazier was great. But he was not greater than Vick.

Tommie Frazier was a good passer and an extremely good runner....he was before Black QB's were the norm and probably would have been asked to play WR or something but he was a damned good ball player and IMO he was better than Vick especially in college....all that stuff Vick did Frazier did better.
And I honestly don't care what color a person is it has no bearing on how you will do at a position....it's the same with white guys and basketball, I could make a team of all white guys past or present and they would stomp pretty much anyone....if you can play everything else shouldn't matter and by everything else I mean skin color religion etc .....killing dogs still matters though
I never saw Vick plow through one of the University of Florida's best teams ever for a 75 yard touchdown run after breaking like 50 tackles.

You must not of watched Virginia Tech's loss to Florida State in the championship game. Florida State barely held Vick off. Who was not even a junior

I guess I may be a bit biased due to the fact Vick ended his own career by being an ignorant bastard and Frazier's career was ended just by bad luck.
Frazier was the starting QB for 3 National Championship games and won 2 of them vs Miami (which had Warren Sapp AND Ray Lewis on defense) and vs Florida (which touted Danny Wurfle and Fred Taylor on their high powered offense). He was named MVP in ALL THREE OF HIS NATIONAL CHAMPIONSHIP STARTS!!!

Frazier was the perfect fit for the option, and he was as good an option quarterback as college ever saw, nonetheless, he was only an option quarterback. Vick couldn't throw for sh!t in the NFL but in Beamer's system his arm was just as dangerous as his legs. Let's not forget Vick was 90% of the reason VT got to the BCS title game his freshman year, whereas Frazier was surrounded by what many argue was the greatest college team of all time(and what is undisputedly proclaimed the best offensive line in history). On a different note, I'd put Vince Young as the greatest college QB of all time for the simple fact that in college, winning and being able to lead a team is just as, if not more important than putting up huge numbers, which is why I don't see a Ty Detmer or Colt Brennan as among the all time greats.
