Can Emilianenko Fedor remain P4P number 1 if he does not join UFC?
I've seen this asked but I want you guys opinion. Can Fedor stay number 1 if he joins a rival organisation?

If Barnett/Monson/Hunt/yoshida and a few other guys end up with Heros and he can beat them then I think he will maintain his spot...But even if you put all of the relevant HW's not in UFC in K1 it would still be pretty lean. A strong win over barnett is the most important, but eventually I think he will have to come over to UFC

Yeah,I know most are calling for a Coutoure fight but I think Fedor destroys him,a Barnett fight would be closer and more exciting.

I'd say Fedor would win, but I doubt he would just destroy Coutoure. What the hell has Barnett done lately anyway?

barnett is the one fight leftover from the pride era that fedor never got to fight
fedor beat nogueria more then once, and he beat the shit out of cro cop,
arvlarvski and sylvia are both jokes
coture is the one guy in the UFC that has any legitimate potential to be rated #1,a and that could ONLY happen after he beats both cro cop and nogueria, which he wont

why should he have to beat Cro Cop?...the guy is done as a contender for a while and I doubt we will ever see him again at a top level
