Just another postponed fight. I wasn't that excited about it but F****** hell how long has it been since there's been a meaningful fight? Even Friday Night Fights is off now. At least there's some great ones coming up

It's just a chain reaction. After so many people back out to do injury it becomes much easier to use it as an excuse.

Maskaev went from being such a good story to being an absolute disgrace.
Peter is my favorite heavyweight fighter in years and between Vitali and Maskaev, he won't fight for 2 years. Maskaev is probably just waiting for Vitali to get better.
Peter is being kept waiting. This is unfair. Either Maskaev fights or he gets stripped.
Peter has waited a fucking year.
Its just prolonging the inevitable really. I guess you have to stick with the cliches and say anything can happen in boxing but Maskaev's chances aren't that good.
Strip Maskaev of the title.
Well at least Jameel McCline is apparently fighting DeVarryl Williamson. That's one got FOTY written all over it.
That depends. On which McCline and which Williamson we see. If its the scared Williamson that was actually somewhat effective against Wladimer and the McCline that had a good first round and then froze up against the same fighter then this is gonna be a stinker .Quote:

The update is that its supposedly injuries to his back and ankle
They want to postpone it for at least 90-100 days.
Peter's camp are trying to get the WBC to let him fight for the interim title on the night the fight was supposed to be.
You have to feel bad for Peter. The guy can't get a break.
Maskaev spent months trying to duck Peter, and now he pulls out with an injury.
