Ive just gota say, Ricky hatton has the best fans on the panet.. i mean mayweather hasnt seen anything like it. For sum reason the americans just dont seem to have the same passion for there fighters..
the press conference in manchester was funny as fuk, the fans made PBF luk like a tit.. heard the 33,000 applied for tickets to the fight, u dont see support like that anywhere else in the world.. big up manchester!!

Ricky has so many loyal fans because he's one of us...simple as that. i've met him a few times and he always seems genuinely pleased to meet you especially if he recognises you from a previous dinner event, press conference or weigh in etc. he has acheived so much in boxing yet remains one of us.....i dont know how easy it is for americans to beleive ricky is a genuinely nice guy but he is.
i'm off to watch him train in manchester in a couple of weeks at his gym and i wont be the only one there, his gym sessions are always full of fans...especially when he does 15 rounds on the bodybag. you've got to see it to beleive it:
