Scott Dann - Coming Back

For those of you not in the know Dann was a decent British/European level Middleweight who was on a roll after losing a shot at a prime Howard Eastman back in 2003. He had a fantastic following down in Devon (for those in the US, think Upper Maine).

In 2006, after 10 consecutive victories he hurt his back in a car accident and that was that. I heard he was due for a comeback earlier this year but so far nothing.

Anyone know any news about him?

I'm actually a Devonian myself and live about 25 miles from Scott. He was offered the chance to appear on this seasons Contender but he announced his retirement from the sport a couple months ago saying he had been unable to overcome the nagging injuries from the car crash.

I wasn't aware he was unretiring although I don't read the local papers so it's possible.

I always liked Scott, he was just getting back to the fringe of world class and certainly looking a step above domestic level before the accident.

Hope he's better now, I'd like to see him get another chance.
