Need Help. Information needed
I\'m going to keep this short. 2 weeks I was dropping off my brother-in-law off at his house. As I was headed home I was pulled over by the police. I was giving my license and registration to the cop who came up to me. His partner was on the passenger side. It was dark so he had his flash light. He shown it on the passenger seat where my brother-in-law had been seating and found a small bag of crystal meth. I had no idea it was there. I didn\'t even know my brother-in-law was into that shit. Cops obviously don\'t believe me so they arrest me and charge me with possession of a controlled substance. I never been arrested and charged with anything before. And I don\'t do drugs. Since my record is clean. The courts gave me a drug program called Prop 36. I\'m suppose to start it next week. And I was wondering if anybody here was familiar with it.

Since you say you never been arrested before. You'll be level 1. There's 3 levels. Level 3 is residential treatment and a lot of drug tests. So level 1 is the one you want to be. It consists of an hour and half group meetings twice a week. An hour long sit down meeting with your case worker once a week. 2 random drug tests a week. And you have to do at least 3 NA or AA meetings a week. You'll go to court once a month for a progress report. Your allowed to fail 3 drug tests before they kick you out. It's a 12 month program. But they will take the felony off your record if you complete the program. If I were you I would beat the shit out of my brother-in-law.

Where do you live at?
I have a friend who picks up extra cash giving people cheap rides to and fro in Baltimore. It's cheaper than if they had gotten a taxi and it is actually a very competive scam downtown.
Anway he picked up this dude and saw a cop on his tail. The guy wanted out do he pulled over and the guy dashed into nowhere. My friend started to pull off and the cop flashed his lights and all that jazz.
Surprise! Surprise! The fellow left a small vile of crack rocks on the backseat. My friend gets aressted, blah, blah, blah...
Goes to court and winds up with probation depsite the fact that he has spent a year in prison for assulat and was recently arrested for a drunk hit-and-run.

If I was your friend I would have said that the guy had held him at knife point and told him to drive. As he fled the scene I doubt they could have argued against it?
