It's going to be a slugfest, what were Duddy's management thinking!
Duddy's been taking on light competition since his debut, why step up so fast?!

If I were on Team Duddy I'd complain... but I'M NOT ... I'M A FIGHT FAN. ;D

And this has fight of the year written all over it. The whole 3 rounds it lasts. ;)
Hard hitting, young, fast paced, ...... and a NEW matchup for once. (No recycling C. Spinks.)

It'll be a barnburner for about 5 rounds, until Duddy has fallen and can't get up and pushes his Life Alert button for help. Since JT appears to be apprehensive about getting back in with Kelly right now, I'd rather see Alan Green fight Pavlik right now.

Yea at 5'11 I dont see Duddy lasting to long, his opposition has been obscure and to step up  against Pavlik who is tall rangy and has an excellent jab and excels with the basic 1-2 combonation with dynamite in his fists dosent bode to well for Duddy.

Perhaps it would make more sense for a Green fight. Well sorta. To be honest, I'd rather see this fight. ;D
Cause I never saw it comin'. I thought team Duddy were going to milk it as long as possible.
But Duddy can crack and he does believe in himself, and that's all it takes.

Duddy Pavlik is going to be a WAR!! As long as Kelly wins,it's going to make him an even bigger star hopefully. He is EXACTLY the kind of guy I'd like to represent our sport. I can think of no bigger compliment. Humble,down to earth,superbly exciting to watch,ko power and you KNOW he'll fight ANYONE out there,the right attitude to have. I just hope he improves his defence a little more,I want him to be around for a while at least.

I wonder if PavMan will work on his defense Gamo??? I think he'll be the same guy everytime until if/when he loses, especially by k.o. Then I think he'll change, otherwise it's kind of like the Army says: If it ain't broke don't fix it.... Which has always been a silly way of looking at things in my opinion. One of the best guys to come along for boxing for a long time for sure. I like Duddy also, but he's bitten off a little more than he can chew at this time imo. Something to look forward to though; 2008 is going to kick azzzz ;)

I sincerely do not care for a alan green vs pavlik fight. Pavlik destroyed the guy who beat him down.
I dont even like the duddy pavlik fight, i mean i will enjory the arse kicken. But, it doesn't make alot of sense to me as far as $$$ goes. pavlik got alittle over 1 mill for the taylor fight, he needs to go after BIG BUCKS, he deserves it.

Well I understand Miranda beat him, but in fairness to Green, he was having all those colon problems, or so they say, but I think it would be more competitive. But like you said, I'd rather see Pavlik get some bigger money fights but who's out there in the middles other than a Taylor rematch??? I'd really like to see Winky or Hopkins fight Pavlik.

I was very disappointed with Green in Miranda fight he just run the whole night even when he dropped Miranda he made no real effort to try and finish off Miranda.

Yeah,that could be a good point. Maybe Kelly won't improve his defence! Then again,I'm hoping the JT knockdown woke him up to that.

I hate to see fighters blatantly overlooking any opponent. I hope duddy looses his upcoming fight...and i actually kinda like him.

I have never seen Duddy fight and I am at work where they block youtube so I cannot check him out. So does this guy have any skills at all? Some of you are practically reading him his last rights!hehe

I do know he is a brawler, but does he have good power, combos or any speed?
