Joel Casamayor, are fighters really afraid of him ??? If i have to read another article with him just out and out talking shit about anyone near 135 i'm gonna go crazy. Don't get me wrong i like the guy and think he's a pretty decent fighter but am i underestimating him ?? Anytime his name is brought up people change the subject. Help me out guys explain to me why ???!!

Casamayor's very talented, but no one wants to fiht him. A fight with Juan Diaz would be amazing.
he can poosibly get a figt with another champ he says he fight anybidy and no one will fight if 140 suitable weight for him i can see him doing work in that weight also

He is an awsome fighter, and campagined at a weight in his prime with fantastic fighter, castillo, corales to name a few... Now i feel for Joel that none of the true lightweights will fight him unless they have to... one of the diaz's wasnt it was signed to fight him? he lost his WBC belt over it then they shit out? i was freaking out watching the last fight because the dipshit on sentanta was going on about how this was for the undisputed LW title when fucking Casamyor is the undisputed Lw champion.
Casa is at a weight were you age fast, and he is already quit old in boxing terms, i fear by the time someone with a set finaly steps up to fight him, he will be past his best and become a forgotten fighter. He might move up to LWW and i think the top names there might be to much for him at the weight and his age.
Shame really... fantastic talent, just to many shit-arses about to step up and get beat with pride.
Without a doubt Casamayor is boxings most avoided fighter. He's a fearless fighter who seems to frighten the opposition. I was not surprise that Juan Diaz fail to mention Joel Casamayor as a fighter he wants to fight.
There was a thread few days ago saying *will there ever be feared fighter again* i think Joel Casamayor is a feared fighter i have watched plenty of his fights and imo i don't think he should even have a loss on his record.Quote:

I think he's bringing this on himself. He had the oppertunity to face David Diaz and asked to make an interim defence first. So's he's got a fight. He priced himself out of the Juan Diaz fight. He opted to fight Freitas and it fell through. Freitas and Diaz ended up fighting instead. Don't get me wrong, he's a great fighter, but he needs to quit moaning and stop trying to get fights with guys already tied up. There are a fucking million guys at Lightweight he could be fighting.
