Another Veteren Heavyweight with AIDS still fighting
The newest issue of Ring Magizine reported that a veteren heavyweight fighter who failed an Aids test in New Jersey was still being allowed to fight in other states. The Ring Said he fought in Florida on Jan 12, and again in Kansas on April 13.
After looking at BoxRec.com, only one heavyweight matches that schedule:
Andy Sample 34-17
He fought a lot of known fighters (Sultan Ibragamov, Brian Minto, Ty Fields...)
ALso interesting is that he is from Kansas like Tommy the Duke(who also failed AIDS test in 1996 and again in 1997) and he just fought again on saturday.

Re: Another Veteren Heavyweight with AIDS still fighting
With all due respect to the 2 fighters, they should NOT be allowed to fight. I'm sorry but can't aids be passed by blood?! 1 cut,and the opponent could become infected. There is no reason to take such a risk. They should not be allowed to carry on.
Re: Another Veteren Heavyweight with AIDS still fighting
whew, that's a scary news.
Re: Another Veteren Heavyweight with AIDS still fighting
Maybe Tommy Morrison and Andy Sample can make a movie.
They can call it BrokeBack Bigbear Mountain.
(Love is a force of nature)
In this here West, condoms did not rule the law of the land.
Brought to you by the AIDS awareness foundation.
