I think Don King owns the TV rights for this but so far no station in the UK has bought them.

Seems crazy companies wouldn't try and snatch this ???
Honestly if you had to bet your mortgage on which will produce the most action packed fight out of the following which would you choose?
Cotto Mosely
Mormeck Haye
Calzaghe Kessler
Mayweather Hatton
Whilst any of the other three have the 'potential' to be great fights we can state with a 99% certainty that Haye v Mormeck is going to be a barnburner and someone is getting KTFO! :jabbing:

It will be a shocker if this is not shown, but i doubt it will be. I think Haye is not a big enough name for Sky to pay big bucks for this fight, what a fucking shame as you say Bilbo. This well could turn out to be fight of the year.
On another note, when Haye turned Pro did Warren try and snap him up? I would be very suprised if not as he is so exciting and if he was on ITV right now hed be a household name.

Well we know Warren wanted 10,000 options on Haye to put him near Enzo

I don't see why sky would show all his career and then not show his 1st world title fight.....bit pointless IMO.
He defo has star quality which sky could use to their advantage.
sky baffle me at times.

hes onyl really exciting when he has someone to make him look so, put him in the ring with someone who will try and box and he looks as borring as anyone, he wont press the action or try to put on a barnburner at all.
IMo every fight that he has looked exciting in was mainly down to the little guy pressing the action

Re: Is the David Haye fight on uk tv???????????????
Sky must have spent all their money on the Hatton v Maywethaer fight as it is the only international world title they are showing this year live. Ideally like to see all the fights but if it was a choice would rather they spend money on world class fighters than domestic matchups. I would have preferred to see Vasquez v Marquez 2, Morales v Paq 3 than the domestic match ups they have shown.

setanta seem to be the station for boxing now....only thing is the coverage isn't that good. Stil its better than it not being on at all.
Re: Is the David Haye fight on uk tv???????????????
Agreed Setanta is better it is showing the Galzaghe/Kessler and Cotto/Mosley fights, I also hoped it would have th Hatton fight so could cancel the sky. Both channels missed some big fights Roy Jones/Hanshaw, and I hope they do not miss the Haye fight and Jones v Tito!

Hopefuly Jones vs Tito will be on.....they showed a preview on the Diaz-Diaz show and steve bunce said 'let's hope we get this fight' so fingers crossed.
