Will calzaghes moment of madness cost him this fight???

hi all,
if anyones watched joe calzaghe, you will know when he gets tagged hard, he almost becomes possessed , and starts throwing punches like caveman. chin up.

in the lacy fight, he got tagged in the 1st round and he went into this pyscho mode, got tagged again cos he had NO defense his chin high up, lucky for him he didnt blink but do you think this sort of thing could lose him the fight against a pin point , FAST powerful puncher like kessler?

this sort of thing is very amateurish but scares fighters, cos they thinking "shit, i think i made him mad...run!" as lacy did. calzaghe had his hands down and said c'mon to lacy, lacy backed of to the centre of the ring as if to say, nah.

i can imagine kessler staying calm, sidestepping and countering this. should be a interesting fight.

btw i had a dream about 2 months maybe 3, it was like a highlight of the fight. calzaghe's workrate was too much, he never really overwhlmed kessler, couldnt really hurt him, and did enough to win each round, and won the fight fair and square, and they hugged at the end, both smiling (maybe thinking of $$$ for a rematch)

Yeh i love that about Joe the way he just goes mental.I dont think it will cost him the fight, but i could see maybe a flash knockdown.Much like the one against kabery salem,for those who dont remember salem must have butted joe about 3 times, Joe went psycho just throwin like he was in a street fight and got caught....

But the point is, this may happen to Joe but if he hits the canvas you can bet enzo will hit the roof and get
him to calm down and start boxing.

against someone like pavlik i could see why it could cost him, but kessler is strong, but i don't think he is strong enough to put calzaghe out in one punch...

also i don't think it will happen, i was at the gym on saturday, he is in the best shape of his career, and its not his shape that will stop it happening, its the reaosn why he is in that shape. They all know kessler is maybe the hardest fight of his career, lil enzo wont let him fight silly.

Hey Preme i agree with you on this one , i dont know were people get the idea Kessler is a 1 punch bomber ?
hes a sharpe stiff puncher at best. He will have to pressure Calzaghe for many rounds to stop him , which may or may not happen.

I know what you mean lionheart, I still get nervous watching the re run of his fight with Mitchell which was a slugfest. Though I have to say I do think he showed a bit more control when he went after Lacy, he didn't abandon his footwork as much, just hope he puts his experiences to good news on sat.
