Boxing on British TV Schedule - Updated for 2009
I just thought I would post a thread of confirmed boxing bills which I am certain are being shown on British TV, and hopefully I'll be able to provide a RBR for many of these fights.
Here goes:
Mar 13 - British Light-Welterweight Title - Paul McCloskey v Barry Morrison Sky Sports
Mar 14 - Amir Khan v Marco Antonion Barrera Sky Box Office
Enzo Maccarinelli v Ola Afolabi
Nicky Cook v Roman Martinez
Arthur Abraham v Lajuan Simon Setanta
Mar 24 - (A Tuesday, I know) Prizefighter Lightweights
Mar 28 - British Light Middleweight Title - Ryan Rhodes v Anthony Small Setanta
British Super Middleweight title - Brian Magee v Tony Dodson
Apr 25 - Paul appleby v Martin Lindsay Setanta

Lol.... Indeed :P ;)
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule for coming months
Looks like I better add the Arthur v Foster Jnr fight for a second time to that schedule now.
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule for coming months
Didn't add these to the thread earlier, but we can add:
December 8
John Duddy v Howard Eastman - BBC1 Northern Ireland
To be honest though...it seems that there is nothing except Arthur v Foster Jr likely to be shown on TV in the UK until January now, but if I find anything popping up, then for sure this is where you'll find it.
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule for coming months
Hey Rhun you going to do a RBR for Arthur v Foster. That would be great. ;D
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule for coming months

Depends on whether it is going to be on proper TV or not I think. Got some family engagements this weekend, so depends on whether I can see it on ITV and whether I can get my laptop to work properly on their system.

In that case, I'm afraid that's going to be a no then. Looks like I've got time off until the new year at least now.
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule - January
Just updated the fight list with a couple of bouts from the Sky Sports schedule for January.
The one between Sean Hughes and Esham Pickering is a rematch of their 8-rounder last month which Hughes deservedly won and turned a keep-busy bout for Pickering into an embarrassing defeat where he turned up under-prepared and unmotivated. Hopefully Hughes can do the same again with Pickering's title on the line this time.
Also, Colin Lynes' progress on the British stage has led him to claiming the vacant EBU Light-welterweight belt beating Young Muttley in the summer, but will have a much tougher test against Gianluca Branco.
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule - January
Just added the Julius Long v Odlanier Solis fight as I spotted its on Eurosport.
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule - January
Added Haymer v Oakey....looks like the boxing on eurosport isn't Long v Solis, but a repeat of Kirakosyan v Gulyakevich.
Re: Boxing on British TV Schedule - January
Starting at 6.30pm, Boxing day on Setanta - 6 hours of Boxing.
Haye vs Mormeck
Woods vs Gonzalez
Diaz vs Diaz
Hatton vs Castillo
Cotto vs Mosley
Calzaghe vs Kessler
A Good day for Boxing. :)
