You all notice how much praise Calzaghe gave to the Elvis Grant gloves? Who would have known?
Glad his hands were not injured during the bout. He did not do a lot of slapping and what was up with the referre Mike Ortega jumping in when Calzaghe was about to knock out Kessler? That was bullshiet!

Joe hit Kess in the back of the head twice before the ref Mike jumped in to warn Joe about hitting in the back of the head. I think it was a good call cause hitting in the back of the head is illegal.

yea but it wasn't a serious blow and a seasoned referee doesn't interfere in what could be a deciding moment in a fight and therefore could have warned joe after the action came to a halt.

So what if one of those 2 blows that Joe landed in the back of the head would have hurt and or dropped Kess for a count, then what?

When illegal blows are thrown during a fight a ref by the rules should halt the action before or as it is taking place. (Depending on the action)
If Joe hit Kess twice in the back of the head then by the rules the ref needs to hal the action and depending on the situation warn and or deduct a point.
