power cleans
so i started doing power cleans and I've heard its beneficial for any sport is this true???
im only doing 5 sets 5 at 115
but I've just started so i should get better at them
ive started lightly back at training at hitting the bag but my should still has some give to it so im trying to strngthen up the tendons and everything after the surgery.. which im pretty far behind but i figure starting is better then sitting around and expecting all the strength to just come back ;D
well figured i would stop by and let everyone know how im doing i havent been on here for a while(prolly good for you guys ;D)
but let me know about the powr cleans
good bye and God bless

Re: power cleans
I've done a lot of power cleans. They're pretty good for developing explosive power. I first started doing them when I was still in high school on the track team. Our coach was really in to explosive training. I'm still trying to decide if they have any real benefit for boxing, but I'm confident that they certainly won't inhibit you in any way. I'd really like to get my slimy hands on a decent medicine ball, but my budget is really tight right now and I don't really have a good place to use it without having to worry about knocking something down by accident....like maybe my house ;).

Re: power cleans
Never did powerr cleans.....
And tbh, the power does come back in the shoulder itself no problem as long as you leave it.
