Hatton loses - is a fight with Cotto still viable?
If Hatton loses his fight with Mayweather, is there still a chance that he could fight Cotto next? Would love to see that fight, as I think it would be another Corrales-Castillo. My opinion is that if Mayweather wins, he may fight Cotto; if Hatton wins then the fight would definitely be on. Might be most interesting if Hatton loses valiantly, and sees it as his last chance. What do you lot think, and who would win the different match-ups?

I don't think so because Cotto vs Mayweather is more likely to happen style wise i would love to see Cotto vs Hatton it all depends on how Hatton rebounds if he loses to Mayweather because there are some tough Welterweight's out there maybe Hatton will fight Mosley if he loses or Oscar De La Hoya ??

i believe if Hatton loses, especially if its convincingly he may drop back to 140 and take on Witter in the UK, before having another crack at the top 147 fighters in the USA. It would make sense cos i think it'd be a big money maker for Hatton and a good confidence builder if he is having doubts after losing to PBF. Another option could be ODLH.

Ricky v Oscar makes sense financially, but I would hate to see it as it is a no win fight for both. If Ricky wins, some people would say that he beat an over the hill fighter who was well past his prime; if Oscar wins, people would say that Ricky was never that great anyway. I suppose it depends on Ricky's performance and mindset, but I suspect that he would consider quitting if Mayweather beat him in a shut-out, just as I think he would be confident against anyone if he wins or loses a close decision.

If there's already mumblings of some wanting to see Cotto-Margarito after he got beat pretty convincingly by Williams, I don't see why not should Hatton lose as well.

If it makes dollars it makes sense, or so it seems these days. I know I'd love to see it, as I would imagine alot of others would. Would be a crazy fight.

I think Cotto is just too strong at welter for Rick. I'm a Hatton fan, I love rick, but we all know he hates body shots, it's the only way he has been stopped. He became a body puncher because of that. Cotto at welter and Rick at light welter. Both have huge dis-advantages fighting at the others weight.
