They are so fucking annoying. The Parisayn fight was not his best effort but Karo,and I DON'T like him,has given lots of exciting fights and generally great to watch. Fucking ingrates. Oh and Joe Rogan is quite possibly the most annoying ass ever..His voice is GRATING!I had to get this off my chest!

Well thats the drawback of an expanding fan base. Your are going to have the clueless morons. As much as I laud the technical skills, athleticism and variety of skill sets in MMA the truth is its explosion of popularity is due in large part to the awesome and violent KO's it can produce. Rogan doesn't bother me but I know a lot of people that can't stand him. I've also heard alot of bashing on Mir's commentary in the WEC which suprised me. I guess I tune out most of the chatter.
Rogan is annoying as hell. He tries to make everything sound or look like it was of biblical proportions. And Yes, Mir is the worst commentator EVER. He talks and talks and talks. Man do I hate him... It seems he loves to hear himself talk or something... theres never a pause...
Now concerning the fans... Its in the US... US fans are not the same as Japan crowds so you will hear alot of booing. Its normal and I do understand their fustration because they really need to press the action in the UFC. Alot of times they just sit on a full guard and do nothing but throw little rabbit punches and the ref just stands there.
I'll say this I'd take a bunch of rowdy booing drunk US fans over a solemn and quiet Japanese arena any day of the week

I have to disagree with Von and Van. I prefer the well mannered,larger,quieter Jap crowds to the UFC ones.I find the UFC fans annoying. Jap fans appreciated ground fighting more too,maybe because of Pancrase and their wrestling events.No idea.

At least Elite went out and got Jimmy Lennon Jr, whom I really like (along with Mike Buffer). Bruce is a joke. His voice sucks. The UFC is jus trying to add credibility to the sport (which it no longer needs) based solely on his name.
Jimmy Lennon reminds me of that character from the Simpsons.... I just can't see him and not laugh lol.
I also like the japanese fan more than the US fan.... I guess its mostly to the fact that I was more of a Pride fan. Plus theres always that Japanese actress on the commentator table :P .

I don't understand it guys. We are talking about a sports event and a combat sports event no less. There should energy and electricity coming from the fans. Its a FIGHT. The fans should be rowdy and in to it. Who cares if they boo? When ever they showed the crowd from a Pride event I always thought we were watching a chess match or something.
Whilst you make a valid point,I still prefer the PRIDE crowds.They are knowledgeable..When the fight goes on the ground,and subs are being tried,it's awesome to hear them "oooh" and "aaah" becuase they realise whats going on. In comparison,as I said,5 seconds without fighting and the mornoic UFC fan starts booing.I find them obnoxious if I'm honest. I always prefer the humbleness and sense of honour from the Pride crowds too,appluading the winner and loser no matter where they are from and even if they beat their hometown favourites.Quote:
