Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
I don't know why but I see this as an UGLY affair....Hatton is going to have to be rough with Floyd to make sure he stays with in punching range...The hit and hold will be his key TBH...no way he can chase Floyd all night if he expects to land on a regular basis Floyd is to fast...
If the fight does get in close Floyd will tie Hatton up making sure he gets no work done on the inside.....
So what we have is Hatton getting close enough to land a few then holding so Floyd can not get away or Floyd just holding Ricky the second he sees he is in a spot and wants top stop Ricky from working inside.....
I hope I am wrong here but for some reason all the hype I have a notion is going to be for nothing other then the two will be in the same ring....
Opinions?
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
I don't think it will be ugly. I think it will be way more eventful than Mayweather-DLH was.
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
I think it might be ugly for a short while but once Floyd starts timing and hurting Ricky then it's good night vienna.
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
As i've said plenty of times Mayweather is at his best and most exciting when someone is pressuring him and Hatton will be pressuring all night long so i expect a good action packed fight.
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
I think Hatton has to make it a rough and rapid fight in close If he hopes to win.On the outside at reach Maywither will potshot him and Floyd can spin him around on the Inside.Hatton cannot allow Maywither to relax one minute. He may HAVE to fight untill his "heart explodes".I dont think it will be foul filled but Hatton shouldnt worry about notching points for vanity either.
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
all depends on if the ref allows that hit and hold bs. If he doesnt then hatton is screwed because Hatton cant fight Floyd on the outside and up close if he throws his wide hooks thats playing right into Floyd hands as there will be ample oppertunity to land his trade mark straight rights.
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
It has all the ingredients to be ugly.

I think it may be extremely ugly for Hatton Fans!
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
I think will be a smash and grab by Ricky as he gets caught on the way in .i dont think there will be alot of infighting, but i hope its not a stinker

100% with ya on that ;)
Re: Does anyone else predict an Ugly fight for Hatton/PBF?
Also, i disagree slightly with Daxx because IMO, the moment a clinch is initiated, Hatton is in his element. For Floyd to try and tie Hatton up would be a disaster..... Or at least a sign of desperation.
Floyd would be better served to rely on his upperbody movemnt and foot work untill he can time Ricky on the way in AND out (you know, when Ricky does that little jig as he has a little look & a think)
Of course this is assuming that Cortez dosen't confuse Hattons actions with Hitting & Holding ;)
