Good news...Pavlik cleared to train,his hands are ok...14 stitches not 100...

Doctors say "the Ghost" is good to go

Undefeated WBC/WBO middleweight champion Kelly "The Ghost" Pavlik was certified 100% ready to resume full training today, clearing the way for Pavlik's first title defense against former world champion Jermain Taylor. Earlier this month, Pavlik had incurred superficial lacerations and abrasions to his hands and forearms while trying to repair a broken window at his home. The 14 stitches he received to repair the lacerations have already been removed. "This is to certify that Kelly Pavlik had a medical evaluation today and may return to full contact sports and activities as of November 20, 2007," said Mark F. Hendrickson, M.D., Chief, Section of Hand Surgery, Plastic and Reconstructive Surgery, and Hand and Upper Extremity Center at The Cleveland Clinic Foundation in Cleveland, OH.

I have a sneaking suspition it was more then 14...

It was probably alot worse then 14 but they don't want to give up to much info... It's like that whenever an important athlete gets injured... It lies in a shroud of secrecy until they HAVE to come clean...

You get 100 if you sick your hand down a garbage disposal or you try to choke a running weed eater to death. Wow.....got to love the media.

It was described as multiple lacerations on his hand and forearm. 14 stitches seems kind of low to me. 100 seems high though so im guessing its somewhere between the two.

No. They went to the hardware store to buy a new one. But Pavlik's dad left the new glass in the shopping cart at the store

yup sounds just like his dad. i'm sure he also forgot to pay for it thinking he just came by to window shop, and not literally shop for a window glass.

someone's gotta preserve those glasses. it might sell for a fortune someday.
