Re: Cotto's next opponant
Cotto should face the Mayweather-Hatton winner. Nobody else.
Re: Cotto's next opponant
Colazo doesnt deserve a shot at Cotto, he needs a coupke a wins to get a shot at 1 of the champs, gotta respect Clottey wouldnt be a walki in the park for miguel tho, i still hold out hope that he fights Tony tho (foty 2008) if it happens lol.

Exactly.
Re: Cotto's next opponant
Very true!! winner on december 8th for cotto, (if not vot Tony!!)
Re: Cotto's next opponant
I read Cotto will face his mandatory in PR.
Re: Cotto's next opponant
He just fought in Nov. Klose and Yuryi are fighting the same weekend of Hatton-PBF those 2 are at the top of the rankings of the WBA. If Cotto is ordered to fight another mandatory it will more then likely be the winner of Klose and Yuryi sometime April-May and then I hope and pray he meets PBF late 2008.

Cotto has been in two fights in a row with determined contenders (Judah's last and only great stand) and with a STRONG and fast Mosely.
Even though he won, he took more damage than Mosely. (Only a fight fan would know what I mean.)
Cotto needs to take an easy fight next.
(Avoid Clottey for now, Cotto's earned it.)
(Miguel can beat Clottey but that guy can take a great shot and he's tough as nails.)

Thats good news!
I like to hear that Clottey, Cintron, Margarito & Williams are still in the mix. I mean, i can understand how after these mega fights, certain fighters might wanna sit pretty for a while. Some fighters can get side-tracked.
Besides. I like Clottey. His tough, fast, hard and exciting. Plus he's a big fukin lump of a lad!
I feel he can cause a few upsets at WW. If i were a Cotto fan i'd be against this match up ;)

Boxrec says Clottey is fighting Shamone Alvarez in three weeks.
