Hatton Vs Pryor...If you had to choose

Between Hatton Vs Mayweather or Hatton Vs Pryor...

I was wondering what a fight between Hatton and Pryor would be like?...Seeing how Hatton Floyd is coming up and it is the biggest fight of the year...But for some reason I have a feeling it is not going to live up to the hype..(please don't ask why)....

IMO a fight between these two would be an all time great bout.....I rearely do dream matchup's but for me this would be one...

Persionally I go with Pryor out of sheer toughness and the fact he was like a posessed man in the ring at his best...almost unable to be stopped as if his mind and body did not communicate

Hatton at his best would win. But stick em in the ring for 10 fights and I reckon Pryor would win about 7 of them.

I know its weak, but i might leave my pick til after Dec 8. At the moment Pryor, but if Hatton has a win or even an impressive loss i may pick him.....

I would go for Pryor because he had aggression and some good slick boxing skills Ricky is just a come forward slugger in my opinion but i will say this for Ricky's style it works.

....I would go with Pryor on points but he did get knocked down a time or two due to sticking his chin up and out when throwing combinations.


I love the idea of a Pryor-Mosley fight, that in theory is a damned even matchup

Yep thats spot on i made this topic when i first came here and my opinion still hasn't changed Pryor takes him to the cleaners.

aron no doubt, even if hatton beats floyd. aaron is just too good overall, he won't just box you he'll take you out on a stretcher.

For anyone to even give this a serious thought must be British because i refuse to answer a question about 2 fighters when 1 obviously does not belong in the ring with the other. stupid, stupid post.

Explain how one does not belong in the ring with the other?...Hatton is a brutal body puncher when he is on point...Pryor is a mean SOB in general who could take as much as he dished out....

More then likely the fight would not go the distance and reguardless of who wins it would have been damn exciting....

And why does someone have to be British to make such a post?....and exactly what is that supposed to mean anyhow?....are you suggesting something about British fans?

And you won't comment on it because it is a stupid stupid post yet took the time to open the thread and post the half assed comments you did without one thing to back them up....

I have an idea before you start calling ANYTHING here stupid be it this post or otherwise why don't you rethink your screen name a while...because the onlything stupid around here is the fact you want ot be refered to as "Bigsexy" in a boxing forum that is 95% male...

But I refuse to answer on why you might want ot be called that

People rarely give fighters these days a chance against the older fighters except for special cases like Floyd. We put older fighters up on a pedestal, fighters get better and better the longer they've been retired.

Pryor would probably win most of the time but I don't think Hatton would embarrass himself by any means.
