I've been P!ssing Blood, should I be worried?

Hey I had a pretty hard sparring session on Friday night, and took some good shots. Mostly head shots and some body shots, which didn't hurt me or nothin at the time. Apparently I musta got hit in the kidney or something, cus when I got home that night I started pissing blood. Then funny thing is, my next like 3 pisses were yellow, regular urine. Then last night I started pissing blood again, and have been since. Its not like pure blood of course, but the urine is for sure red. Should I go to the hospital? I'm having no pain in my body or when I pee. I'm thinkin I should just ride it out and only seek medical attention if it doesn't stop after today. Any advice ? I would really appreciate it. Thanks.

Come on guys. Don't try to scare me. This happens to boxers all the time I thought. I mean it'll go away and shit I imagine. I figure I'm going to the Doctor IF it doesn't stop after today. I'm sure you guys have seen/heard of this before. Thank you for your replies guys.

What could be the harm in going to the doctor?

What could be the harm in not going to the doctor?

Hey Hulk,
Blood in urine can be a symptom of bladder cancer, kidney cancer, kidney stones, a prostate problem, or a bladder infection. In this instance, it's most likely due to your kidneys being injured through the body shots you took. You didn't mention it, but if you are having difficulty and/or pain urinating in addition to the blood present, immediately go to the emergency room. Don't wait. Now, if it's blood only and it has dissipated at this point, you're probably okay, but like the others mentioned, why take a chance? It's definitely better to be safe than sorry. There's no harm in making sure you're okay as opposed to being apathetic and taking a chance that it's nothing serious. While it might be nothing, you never know until you're examined thoroughly.

My recommendation is the same as the others; go see a doctor as soon as you can. Even if it turns out to be nothing, you'll have that certainty and peace of mind. Let us know what happens. My fingers are crossed that everything is fine...

I'm going to the Family Doctor tomorrow. Thank you alll for your concerns and advice. I talked to my trainer and he said the same thing as all of you. And NO, there is /was no pain with the urinateing what so ever. CC's to all of ya. I'll let you know whats up after tomorrow.

bro i am laughing my ass off, but not in a good way. i am concerned, and i say follow the advice of seeing the doctor..but i doubt it is a deadly wound. still take care , you got to work tomorow and that is just as important as today.blood is always a bad sign, but not a deadly sign...take heed and all will be good

I pissed blood so many times after getting hit in the body...Its only scary the first time, and, like pain, it goes away. Nothing to worry about.
Of course, now, I have a tube in my bladder on a pretty much permanent basis, and I've spent over 4 months in the hospital, lost everything I had. I ain't saying one is related to the other, but it can't hurt to go and find out.

now i belive the quote from Clint Eastwood is " i've drank more beer ,blanked more blank and pissed more blood than all of you" he seemed ok, but then he was playing a mythical character so get checked and all will be well...maybe like me you will then be able to adapt his saying as yours...i know it shuts young kids up...lol
