A fight with Witter in the UK after a warm up fight i would like to see, or Torres vs Hatton.
Hat off to Hatton bless him.
Hatton comes across really well there, especially when talking about his reasons for taking the fight. He sounds like he is on the verge of crying at times as his voice is breaking up.
Hatton is a great fighter and will finish of his legacy in the coming year or two
All of my favourite fighters and the legends that i love have been defeeated, All of them, Some rematched and avenged theyr losses some never did..
But I bet ricky could still make huge money, huge fights and a hell of a lot of good fights in the history books by heading back down to 140
There are loads of fighters down there that are great, Holt, torres, witter, malignaggi, a comeback fight to knockout rees and fight back on british turf again would be nice, grab a belt, Get some rounds, theres Dhop, Forbes, Bojado, Salita Unification would be nice..
And he'll be plenty happy to increase his legacy and finish the game on wins like those
wasn't de lay hoya saying he would come to england to fight win or lose?? or did i imagine that i can't remember
Well done Rick....
All Ricky has to do is take a leaf from his friend Marco Barrera. He came back from two back to back losses to Junior Jones that could have finished his career had he not been so strong minded.
I like Ricky and he has nothing to be ashamed of. He could have protected his undefeated record but he went up in weight and fought the pound to pound best.
Montezuma CC for that.Quote:

Excellent post, I couldn't agree more, this loss may have hurt Ricky mentally, but give it a few months and he'll be back he could still own 140, I'd love to see him fight Witter, Malignaggi or Torres. At the end of the day the only loss he has is against the #1 p4p fighter in his own backyard, hard to hold that against him. Ricky showed heart and determination I have nothing but respect for the effort he put forth.Quote:
