Floyd has more respect for the game than Hatton and any boxer out there
This is why he is the best.
1. He does not blow up between fights, nor does he only start to train when he is signed to fight. As such he is always in fighting shape. Because of this, others fighters have to try to make weight concurrently whilst building up their conditioning, whilst planning strategy. Floyd simply has to fine tune his conditioning and work on strategy. But he doesn't only do that, he takes up his training another notch. see point 2.
2. His training regiment is much more intense than any other fighter. When fighters are asleep, Floyd is training, when other fighters are training, Floyd is training.
3. He doesn't drink, doesn't do drugs, and he watches what he eats.
Floyd realizes that he is an athlete, and as such realizes that his body and physical conditioning is paramount. He realizes that he cannot afford to take vacations to binge. He can relax, yes, but he can never afford to slip. This is what respect for the game is. It is simply respect for the means by which someone achieves success. For athletes it is being in the best conditioning.
All welterweight contenders after watching that fight should start training now, so that if perchance they get a shot a Floyd they wouldn't be lacking.
That being said, much respect and love for Ricky. He showed heart and brought out the best in Floyd. But Floyd is in a different stratosphere. And this goes for all sports. The only person I see that was comparable was Jordan, who took the off season to get into shape, work on his game, and had the guts to play grueling pick up ball at Chapel Hill with College athletes thereby always running the risk of being injured.

I agree Floyd is one hundred percent dedicated to succeed. He's one of the hardest trainers for sure. I'd say Bernard Hopkins is right up there with him though, that guy hasn't eaten a chocolate bar in over 20 years :o

I pretty much agree with everything you said except for the above statement.
If you've seen PBF train and you've seen PBF hanging out he's eating chips, candy, drinking soda etc. etc.
