Can't remember anyone saying that Hatton did not help to sell the fight, even the dumbest person who watched it knew that the crowd was dominated by the British who traveled many miles to see the fight, that alone gave it away. Silly if you ask meQuote:

It doesn't take a lot of working out how big Hatton is considering they did 850,000 in the States. Floyd did 300,000 odd PPVs when he was the "star" attraction in other fights. Obviously he's much bigger post Oscar fight, but surely not big enough to warrant that kind of jump in numbers.

Imagine if the ammount of casual fans in britain had watched a fight like cotto - hatton.. Theres lots of reasons why that wouldnt happen but it certainly has more chance of bieng a classic
