Which one of the Peterson brothers has a better future?
Do people think there's much of a difference between the two?
Anthony gets more hype cause he's a much bigger puncher while Lamont is thought of as more of the technician although that can be a bit misleading cause Anthony's not a crude slugger by any means.
Both of them fall in love with their left hooks a bit too much and could jab more.
Anthony's at 135, I think a Juan Diaz fight down the road could be great, needs to step up though.
Lamont's at 140, not sure what the big fight for him would be. On paper he's stepping up on Shobox, fighting Antonio Mesquita who's 34-0 with 26 KO's but I don't recognize many of Mesquita's opponents and have never seen him fight.
So does one have a brighter future than the other? I think pretty highly of both of them but maybe people disagree. Are they both overhyped?
Re: Which one of the Peterson brothers has a better future?
I am a fan of both and have followed them since the summer of 05'. I like what I see from them alot, and think they are following a nice little laid out plan as far as their careers go. They don't seem to get impatient in the ring and always stick with their gameplans; and not panicky nor do they waste alot of shots, at least from the fights I have seen.
The one{I always forget which}is very annoying with that "bop, bop, bop, bop" evrytime he throws a punch, but that's about all I have negative to say ::** Would be nice to see the level of comp. taken up a notch this year, so I am looking forward to it. Assuming they will fill up quite a few episodes of this years WNF's and FNF's. I didn't see their last fights in the undercard of Zab's fight; do you know Ouma if it is available?
Just my 2 cents.
Re: Which one of the Peterson brothers has a better future?
I think if they both apply themselves and continue to put 100% as they have shown they'll both do well.
Not sure who I'd favor to be more sucessful tho as I think they are both good enough to move up thru the rankings.
A fight with Paulie at 140 for Lamont would be interesting to see. IMO
