Guy mauled by lion in San Francisco zoo
I heard about this guy who broke into a lion's den at the zoo and got mauled. And people were talking about how there should have been better defences put up to prevent people getting into the cage..
A friend of mine suggested setting up some kind of deterrent.
For example, putting some sort of fierce animal in the cage, which would attack anybody who climbed in.
So, do you think that anyone could possibly be so stupid as to climb in then?

Re: Guy mauled by lion in San Francisco zoo
One has to wonder why and how this happens so regularly. This happened also in Dublin City Zoo. The case in question say a fifteen/sixteen year old girl climb a barrier reading "Please do not pass danger," and then proceeded to walk past another ten or so warning signs before having her hand ripped off by a tiger in a feeding enclosure.
Re: Guy mauled by lion in San Francisco zoo
#1 it was a tiger
#2 they were 3 teenagers mauled, one to death
And the lesson learned DON'T TAUNT THE TIGER....I wonder how that tiger felt when he was mauling them
.....gr-r-r-r-reat I bet

Authorities were weighing whether to seek criminal charges against the Dhaliwals, but their lawyer, Mark Geragos, said they have presented no evidence of a crime. Geragos, who has repeatedly said the brothers didn't taunt the tiger, also noted that the affidavit does not specify any possible counts.
"Basically, they're arguing that if you go to the zoo and wave at the animals, you get the death penalty," he said. "And that's just nonsense."

i think the kid that died was only 17 and they found out that he was drunked and loaded which in any case will prove against him. i think they were doing a lot more then just waving at the tiger, if they were just waving the tiger wouldn't have notice them. Im pretty sure they really ask for it and the tiger gave them more then they can handle.
death is never a good thing and wouldn't wish it on anybody, but anybody that gets drunk and eff up then messes with a tiger in a zoo better be sure that tiger can't escape from any captivity his placed. too bad those boys were too stupid to understand the danger and they learned a very harsh lesson.
