Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
Tito is gonna look wrong at this weight. Very wrong.
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
Jones damn well better fukin KO him. I mean Tito is two weight classes smaller than him, plus coming off a huge layoff. A KO is a must.
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!

8) Hi Fenster , you are righ and i agree with you but if you see a Topic that i made , Tito cant win Roy Jones but Titos is more atractive (Money Wise) i mean the Biggest Purse is going to be Tito. In other word ,the fight have to be fix for Tito Win,that is my Opinion. 8)
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
I think the question is does RJJ WANT to KO Tito if given the opportunity? In the Hanshaw fight it looked like he just let him off the hook after knocking him down.. He didn't even go after him to try for the KO and it seemed like he felt as if he had done enough to win the decision..
I remember reading on here somewhere that RJJ has this thing with not KO'ing fighters if it isn't necessary or something like that.. i apologize if i'm wrong, but i recall reading it somewhere.
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
Roy released a statement after the Hanshaw fight stating that he didn't like to KO fighters unless it was absolutley necessary. (perhaps after the McClellan fight?)
But I ask you, what was the point in Ko'ing Montell Griffin when he knew he could comprehensively outbox him?

Well I guess after suffering his first "loss" he felt it was necessary to make a statement and leave no doubt who was the champion.
This might all be hype but it seems to me that Jones is in that mentality again where he feels he has to KO Tito in order for the fans and other fighters to take him siriously.
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
Actually he really does need to KO Tito to preserve whatever marketability he has left
This might be an interesting fight, both of these guys are effectivly washed up for good if they loose
Trinidad doesnt want to train to the level to stay down in weight anymore, and Jones hasnt had a good win in forever, actually neither has Trinidad
Both of these guys need this fight bad
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
Past his prime or not, if Roy manages to somehow get KOd here it will destroy his legacy.

doubtful, people will still talk about how he was unbeatable in his prime
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
Dont think for a minute that If Tito can come close to inflicting damage on Jones,Roy will forget all about that "must ko" talk and look to box his ass off over 12.
Re: Jones: I must KO Tito!
....this matchup is going to KO the PPV ratings because it's happening nearly 10 years too late

I don't know, both guys, especially Tito, have some fanatical fans.
Sure it won't do as much as it would at one point but I suspect it will do allright
