What is happening with Inkin - Froch? (+ Brähmer, Alexeev and more)
I was under the impression that Froch and Inkin were to be fighting a WBC eliminator (with the possible chance of being awarded full champ if Calzaghe abandons). However Fightnews reports that Inkin will be fighting on the February 23rd undercard of Thomas Ulrich-Yuri Barashian's EBU LHW title bout. Anyone know what is up with this or what the timeframe is for an eventual Froch-bout? Or what Froch's plans are in the meantime?
Jürgen Brähmer, rated as WBO #1, also features on the card. I guess he too will be fighting for an abandoned title soon. Also worth keeping an eye out on Russian cruiser (and former amateur world champ) Alexander Alexeev (13-0 with 12 ko's).

Hmm, I know I am replying to myself, but thought I'd just share this little tidbit:
After posting I just double-checked the WBO-ratings, only to notice that they are rating Jermain Taylor as the number 5 Super Middleweight! That is, well, a bit strange, considering he has never fought at the weight yet, nor have any scheduled fights at the weight... Then again, this is the WBO and at least Taylor is alive :)
(Oh, and Lacy and Manfredo have dropped off the ranking completely ;))
