Ono's Kevin Mitchell - Edison Torres round by round

Nobody seems to be doing one and my laptop is next to the telly so what the hell.....

My first round by round......i've come so far ;D

I have to say my laptop is a bit mental and there's a chance it could crash on me....so if the thread dies, ya know why.


Anyhooooo when Steve Bunce shuts the fwock up we'll be getting down to some nice action.

Edison Torres (venezuela) is a late replacement for Thomas Okanja Aryeetey who was a late replacement for Carl Johanneson.

Edison Torres (41-33-4 -with 27 ko's) doesn't seem to have any real names on his ledger and he's lost his last 6 all on points.

In the opposite corner is one of the UK's hottest prospects, Kevin Mitchell.

Mitchell (24-0-0 - 17ko's) is coming off the back of a 2 round stoppage over Alexander Hrulev.



Anyway fwockers it's all about to start so here we go.....

My guess is an easy KO win for Mitchell

Good left hook from Mitchell, Mitchell corners Torres but only one lands. Another on left from Mitchell. Mitchell having early succes with the jab. Big right by Mitchell stuns Torres....Torres looks flustered. Not much coming from Torres....slow start for him. Another over hand right by Mitchell and a combo on then ropes before the bell.

Good body shot by Mitchell. Torres lands a solid right hand. Torres on the ropes again. He has that look about him....the same one Judah has when he's mentally fragile. Mitchell needs to jab more... great left hook by Mitchell. Torres holding on. Torres on ropes again.....and again. Torres looks very unsteady...great right by Mitchell.

I don't think this will go much longer

Torres backing to ropes again...thinks he's Roy Jones...he's not (trust me). Great left by Mitchell....Torres hurt again. Mitchell looking to unload. Great shot by Mitchell. Torres looks like my drunk uncle. Torres does a Ricky Hatton and goes to lean on a rope that int quite there. ref has stopped it and Torres has finally found the canvas.

Looks in a bad way and is given oxygen. didn't seem to take an awful lot tbh but who knows.

Not much to say about Mitchell. This fight just seemed to be better than cancelling the show......hmm i'm not sure. Ah well at least the Small fight was good. I should have round by rounded that one >:mad

No Small looked exceptional and i mean exceptional. Takaloo doesn't have much left but Small was still very good. I like the guy...i must admit. I can see why other don't like him....but i do.

He's not a likeable individual but I think he may have a little bit of talent in there somewhere . You can tell he's modelled himself on Roy Jones Jnr by the way he tries to fight

Nice effort Ono but there was only going to be one winner save your comentating skills for when there is a fight that someone gives a fk about. The Small v Takaloo bout would have been more worthy of your efort, Takaloo seems to have gone back quite a way now & it maybe time for that ride into the sunset before he gets hurt
