Jones Junior wants Calzaghe fight

Not really anything new that Roy is calling out Joe but he wants it in Wales and I especially liked this part:

"I want Calzaghe," he said. "If I've got the titles, he has to come and get it but he's got the titles so I have to go and get it.

After years of people bad mouthing him for not leaving the US and seeing that Calzaghe gets the same treatment for fighting mostly in Wales at least hes honest enough to justify a champion fighting at home. Why take the risk of fighting on foreign soil if you dont have to.

I think comments like this are Jones' way of keeping his foot in the door..letting people know he's still here.

Basically hardly anyone (not me included) give a fook about the fight on Saturday night.

I don't think he has any intention of going to Wales to fight Calzaghe. He can't be that skint.

I think he's just desperate to get back to the top of the sport now, fair play
to him because he's willing to travel and take on the champ in his home town to do so.
Can't see him beating JC but if Joe beats Hopkins I could see this fight happening then
Joe calling it a day.

I'd still be keen on a rematch with Clinton Woods, both fighters would have a lot to gain from it, Woods gets a chance to avenge his loss and Jones gets a shot at the belt. I reckon it'd be a good fight too with Roy's decline and Woods imrovement making it a close fight.

I cant really see this happening but if it did I can imagine a hell of a night in cardiff....And maybe Frank warren can put a decent undercard on...or open the gates later.Cos i ain't showing up at the stadium at 10'o clock to watch hours of no namers to watch a fight with pretty much an inevitable outcome,a win to JC.
