Hi, I am new to boxing and this site.....
Hi,
I am a 16 year old male. I am new to boxing and this site.
I want to increase my strenght asap. I just wondering what is the best way to do this and is there any good tips?
I also would like to know what is the best way to improve my punch and the quickness of my punch?
I am sure that many people have asked this and I am sorry to make a new post for this.

Weightlifting will increase your strength. If you wish to punch harder, work your shoulders, chests, and upperback, and do lots of bagwork.

Thank you, Is there any way I could improve my speed? On Foot and by punch?

Skipping rope,,and use a floor to ceiling ball (or double ended bag I think some call it) the one thats on elastic and is strung between the floor and the roof so you can move around and practice footwork while you duck and weave and set yourself into the right position to hit it.
Play hand ball ,or table tennis/ ping pong for hand and eye coordination while moving stance too.

With your weight training, high reps 15+ helps endurance, and low reps 10- helps strength.. So try to use heavy weights with few reps.. if your strugling to get your 3rd rep out and can go on to about 6 or 7, this is considered optimum for max strength gains..
If your new to weight training though, work with lighter weights and higher reps until you get your form/technique near PERFECT.. High weight/low reps can become bad for you very quickly if good form isn't used..
