Calzaghe v Hopkins confirmed. Non-title bout. Still 12 rounds ??
Might be daft question here but given that Calzaghe v Hopkins is a non-title bout does that mean it won't be over 12 rounds ?!?
Never knew what the actual disctinction was for when some fights were 10 and some fights were 12 rounds but assumed it was when one was a title fight ?
Am just hoping it won't be 10 thats all !

Though I have looked back through Boxrec on a few fighters trying to find a non-title fight of 12 rounds and I have to say I couldn't find any !!

its for the WORLD light heavyweight Championship. THat is much better then all of Joe's alphabet trinkits. Although, it would be cool if B-Hop got down to 168 so that it could be for both the WORLD Super middle and WORLD light heavyweight Championship.
ALthough, Joe will have that opportunity

I was thinking the same thing about Pavlik-Taylor II. If they weigh in at 166, there won't be anything at stake, not even a Ring belt, but I'm sure it's scheduled for 12 anyway.
