It would be great, but I don't see it happening because Jones could beat him and that would potentially screw up his mega fight with Mayweather.
Besides, I'm pretty sure that Oscar is fighting Steve Forbes in his May tune-up. RJJ knows this and is just blowing smoke.

It would be really bad for Roy if he could somehow get to 156. Last week he looked cut at 169.5 with very little body fat. At 156 he would be very dangerously unhealthy and weak. Hes probably just talking though and hasnt really gave much thought about it.

If I were Roy I'd call out Jermain Taylor or Kelly Pavlik. He could make a hefty payday off either and has a lot more speed than both and enough savvy to beat them. Taylor would gas out and I think Roy could neutralize Pavlik's power.

Not at 156. No way, Hes just trying to stir things up and get his name floating around again like he used too. I dont think he will fight under 168 at this point in his career. He has too many options at the higher weights. than again, he wants no part of Winky, Johnson, Dawson, or the logical fight to regain a Light Heavyweight fighting Woods again. I think Roys only got money on his mind though right now.

Roy is just throwing his name out there to keep it fresh in everyone's mind, including promoter's, fans and fighters alike. He is not serious about going back down to 156, at least I hope not.
Thing with Roy is, he has quite a bit of his confidence back and on a little winning streak so many will actually avoid him. He is no longer really a "Big Name Vulnerable", but is becoming a "big name risky endeavor" again.
The ones out there with more to lose, will avoid him. It is going to be hard for him to land a mega fight, which is what I think he is looking for before retirement. He wants that 10-20 million payday. There are still good fights though under the Taylor's, Pavlik's, Miranda's who would fight him, but he would get 2 million tops.

You really think so bro? I don't know man,I think guys like Joe,Tarver,Johnson,Dawson would jump at the chance to fight Roy. He has a decent win over Tito,that doesn't compare to fighting the aforementioned guys who are bigger and stronger and hit harder. I think they would fancy their chances against him.
