Calzaghe Hopkins Tickets - RIDICULOUS prices!!!

The cheapest are coming in at £150 with the booking fee! The exact same ticket was £50 for the Hatton Castillo fight. When I went to the T&M centre for the Castillo fight I paid $200 for the second cheapest seats. The same seats are £200 sterling($400) for Calzaghe, talk about ripping off the loyal fans!

I've already bought my flights now so not a lot I can do. :(

Do you think this will sell out? Because there were loads of top and middle tier seats left for the Castillo fight you could still buy on the night. Will the Welsh fill this place out you think?

They don't sound too ridiculous.....you're gonna buy aren't ya ! Jus playin i see this selling out, hopefully i can get some tic's me and the wife will be down that way already.

Don't go through a ticket broker. Go straight the source and you will save substantial amounts of money.

They haven't announced ticket prices yet, but the fight is on the web-site. Don't worry about it selling out either, because it's a real big venue.

As long as they ain't restricted view tickets or anything like that...I guess I don't see them as being that expensive, considering how much interest there was in the Hatton fight. They might well put on the action on a big screen somewhere near like they did last time for ppl that can't get tickets.

I'd love to go, was hoping it would be in the summer, but I doubt the sale of my flat will go through in time for me to get tickets and fly over. :'(

That is ridiculous for ringside seats. I wouldn't pay that much money ESPECIALLY if the fight involves

I'm paid a cool 300 dlls. for my ringside seats for Marquez vs. Vasquez III and I'm willing to bet ANYBODY here that the muthafucken undercard fights will ALL be more exciting & thrilling then Hopkins vs. Joe. Not to mention the main event. ;)

lol thats nothing compared to what the mayweather hatton tickets were. 550 was minimum.

Hatton PBF was a one off as far as British Boxing goes - the English always pay way over the odds for special events. I remember Liverpool fans paying a reported £6000 on the black market for European Cup Final tickets last year. We're stupid like that when it comes to sport, we're so starved of any real sporting success that we go insane when we're faced with some!

I could swallow the price on Calzaghe easier if I didn't know how much the exact same tickets cost for the Hatton Castillo bout in the exact same venue!

It costs the fans enough in flights, hotels and spending money. :-[

They probably needed a bigger gate income to make this fight since they're not planning on p p v in the states.

yep, will be good but won't come close to the atmosphere Hatton PBF generated - it's also been held off the strip.

Wonder how many fans will go over - a lot who might have gone won't go back so sonn if they went to the Hatton fight.

Am kind of glad its in Vegas as its made my mind up not to go. WOul dhave gone New York but not ready to go back to Vegas so soon.

1500 for ringside ain't too bad. Tito Jones was at $15,000. Now that was ridiculous. Heard they had to cut it down to 5K cuz they were'nt selling. And that is still ridiculous.
