Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
i just read the first paragraph of boxingtalk's interview with antonio margarito, he seems to looking for the future when he states that he would like to fight either cotto or verron forest after zab.
shouldn't antonio be concentrating on zab, hes a tough oppenent. both fighter i think are no longer at the peak of their career, and i believe that antonio is good but not good enough to fight top contenders.
this is going to be zab's toughest fight in recent history that doesn't involve a title and not in the main event. i think he will do a lot better in this fight then his fights in the main event
~did anyone else read the rest of the article on boxingtalk? I'm not a member..-_-
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
If he's overlooking Zab,he is in for a big surprise. If I were judah,I would jump on Margarito early. Tony should have learnt his lesson with overlooking guys after Williams. He thought he was going to go in there,KTFO him out and fight Cotto but it didn't work out. ;D
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
Wow,I am surprised you have to be a member to read Tony's interviews now! Kind of shows he's at least slightly well known now!
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
I think that's because it's boxingtalk, not because it was a Margarito interview.

Exactly what I was thinking. He has made this mistake before. Judah jumps on everyone early doesn't he? Should make for an interesting fight.
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
yea but he fades later in the fight, im hoping judah changes his style up and fight in the mid and late rounds
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
Yes just like he did against Cotto . Miguels pressure was constant though and that took it's toll on "SupA JudAH".
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
I know i am going to be shot down in flames for this but here goes....Zab will beat Margo!
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
Judah will dominate Margarito. For about a round or two. Other than that it should be all Margarito
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
I dont see Margarito as the type of guy who underestimates other fighters. He has had to work too hard to get where he is.
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
Zab hasn't won in forever so maybe he is just a little, but i think margarito remembers the williams lost like it was yesterday, so zab will have his full attention come fight time.
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
Zab Judah is physically inferior to Margarito. Zab has no chance whatsoever! Zab has quickness, but that's it! He has been defeated by three pressure fighters (Tszyu, Cotto, and Baldomir) and Margarito will be the most physically imposing of them all!! Zab has never proven to have the conditioning to keep these pressure fighters off him. And we all know Margarito does not slow down. it is easy to see that Zab will lose. Bet on it.
Re: Is antonio margarito unerestimating zab?
Nah,Hes to smart for that.Zab is still very fast early on and has flashes but If he thinks for a minute he can stand with Tony and walk through his rangy power he is mistaken.I'll bet the house on this one.
