"Bad" Chad Dawson telling it like it is.

As you guys know,I'm critical of these older fighters trying to make names for themselves by fighting and calling out smaller guys ESPECIALLY in cases like Roy's,where there are guys who are more deserving of a fight like BCD,Johnson,Tarver even WInky. I want to see new stars made,Cotto,Pavlik,BCD,I want to see guys spending their hard earned bucks on fights worth it like Rafa Isreal 3 etc etc.

Dawson vs Jones would be good viewing

BTW,I am NOT saying Dawson would beat Jones,I'm just saying he deserves a chance,more than Trinidad!!

I'll reserve judgment on who would win that matchup until after I see the Jones-Trinidad replay this weekend. Dawson has already called out Tarver and he gets much respect from me for doing that. They could have already fought but he had to settle for some no-name because Tarver is unwilling for some reason.

I can see Jones winning this, but I don't know how much of that opinion is me thinking of the Jones of old. Dawson may be too fast and strong (and it's funny how Dawson is talking about Jones picking on smaller guys when he was a MW just a few years ago).

Too bad he's gonna get schooled by Glen Johnson before he gets his chance ;D

Its ok Dawson calling Jones out and implying he just wants to fight smaller guys for money, but in the end thats the only reason BCD wants Jones. Cos there is more money fighting RJJ than fighting any other LHW other than Hopkins at the moment.

Exactly. Dawson is a good guy, and a talented kid. But I'm gettin tired of evryone actin like he is "Badder" than he is. Who's he beaten? Old Eric Harding? That runner Garderner? A tough but very hittable Thomas Adamek?

And suddenly legends like Roy Jones are supposed to FEAR him? Please...
