Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
116-112 and I like to add that anyone that thinks this fight was and an SD doesn't know how to score fights.I'm sorry for sounding harsh but by having that fight as an SD,you have given EVERY benefit of the doubt/close round to Oscar and you have scored the few close rounds allllll for Oscar. You have also scored ineffective arm punches, wild misses when Floyd was on the ropes and have scored for Oscar for merely walking forwards. Floyd threw the harder punches, landed the harder punches(wobbling Oscar twice) and made Oscar miss.He also landed more punches.
The ONLY punch Oscar landed was the jab and that was rare and the only people that think it was an SD or Floyd haters or Oscar fanatics, and the odd Floyd fan who wants to feel better about the rematch so tries to argue the first one was close. It was'nt.

THankyou bro,I always tell it like I see it.
Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
I said it in another thread. This is a win win for both.
Mayweather is a superior fighter at his prime who has already beat Oscar convincingly IMO and has little risk of loosing + he's going to make a shit load of money.
DLH is in the ring with a guy who can't hurt him and will be fighting a cautious fight so there is very little risk of him getting hurt. Plus he already loss to this guy and he is the #1 P4P so it won't harm his legacy to lose again. But he knows the more rounds he spends in the ring with Mayweather, the more chances he's got of landing some big shots on Floyd. He has to hope that it is "the day for the jab".. whatever that means ::**. + of course the ridiculous, copious, staggering, mindboggling amount of money he will make....again.
Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
116-112 for Mayweather i had Mayweather up by 2 rounds going into 9th round i believe. Then After that it was all pretty much Mayweather, i gave ODLH the 12th just to give ODLH the benefit of the doubt making my scorecard 8 rounds to 4 if i remember right. A lot of people were fooled by ODLH's flurries but if they watch the fight closely and see how ineffective those flurries were they would realize the fight wasn't close at all. I also hate when people say *If ODLH Would Of Used The Jab For Entire 12 Rounds Etc*. But what those people fail to realize is that it was Mayweather countering over ODLH's left jab that made ODLH cautious with the jab. And also ODLH got tired in the later stages because he was missing with so many of his power punches it takes a lot out of you and quickly. Just try and throw a punch in mid air putting all your power behind it then imagine getting countering with a solid body shot and you would realize how much energy that takes out of you. Mayweather landed the more effective blows and won the fight comfortably end of. I also hate the argument about *Well ODLH Didn't Have Scratch On Him, Mayweather Had A Shiner Though* But what does that prove ?? if we are using that logic then Meldrick Taylor clearly wasn't beating Chavez because he had badly swollen face and Chavez didn't have scratch on him. A Shiner can be caused by anything from a thumb, elbows, head butt etc.
In the end im Mayweather fan and im disappointed Mayweather is rematching ODLH, because Mayweather already clearly beat ODLH and i think he should be concentrating on sealing the deal on his legacy. And not just fighting for money which he has enough of to buy small country with.
Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
I had it 116-112. I believe I gave Rounds 2, 6, 7, and 12 to Oscar, the rest to Floyd. Oscar was the aggressor, but it was ineffective agressiveness.
I thought it was an A+ performance from Floyd defensively, and about a B- offensively.
Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
I think i had it 117-113 im not sure if it happens at Welterweight this time i think Mayweather could stop Oscar.
Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
Anywhere from 117-111 to 116-112
Re: Mayweather Vs De La Hoya
Didnt score it i was pissed ;D
ODH done just enough to lose IMO... he will do just enough to win the rematch and then they can both head off into the sunset with the gains of the $$$rubbermatch$$$.
STINKS IMO.
Hope i'm wrong and he loses again for the sake of BOXING.

Yeah, I hope your wrong too.. I hadn't seriously considered the possibilty that it would be staged like that... Seems unlikely in this day and age, with a megafight... IMO for it to happen like that it would have to be very clear to boxing fans that Floyd was letting Oscar win rds.. However perhaps if he just fights a little more passively and Oscar can keep throwing a bit longer, the average shmuck will buy it..
