Amir Kahn Vs Gairy St Clair More Smoke And Mirrors ??
Now this is a step up for Khan no doubt but this match up isn't as good as most people think. Gairy is 1-2 in his last 3 fights and he has only ever fought at Lightweight once at that was 6 rounder in his last fight. Gairy has never been a big puncher at even Super Featherweight, IMO Gairy is a shot fighter and he will be over powered and stopped in quick fashion. Overall good step up for Khan but this is a well chosen fight for Khan, it looks good on paper but its not as good as it seems. Whats your opinions on this fight ??

I checked out this interview with Gary on Frank "WBO" Warren's site and he says he has only seen Khan box just once 2 YEARS AGO ::** He is underestimating Khan and Amir will have too much speed and power for him.

Kahn will more then liekly just stop him in the first couple of rounds. But yes i think this is a well chosen opponent to get people saying "kahn beat this guy with a good record" bla bla bla before actaully looking into it and seeing he is ready for the taking at this point of his career.

St. Clair is not a bad fight for someone with as little experience as Khan. A reasonably well known name who hasnt got a hope in hell of beating Amir. Anyone who thinks Gary is more than an opponent for Khan is seriously mistaken, altho St. Clair may give him some much needed rounds.
If Khan is as good as we are lead to believe he needs to look at a world title shot in his next few fights tho. Guys like Mayweather, Tszyu, Diaz, were already winning world title fights at the same stage as Amir is now.
