Andy Lee
Where have you Brits been hiding this kid?
Just checked this out on ESPN, he looks like a good prospect. Certainly must be decent if he caught the eye of Manny Steward when he was still an amateur...

Re: Andy Lee
He's an Irish fighter, so the Brits haven't been hiding him. He was controversially eliminated from the Olympics a few years back. He's verrry good

Re: Andy Lee
I read a special on him in Boxing News. He's from London... East London infact! :D
Im a bloddy fan now ;D

Re: Andy Lee
Brought up in London, but born in Limerick I think.
Anyway, didn't mean to spark up any nationalistic fervour between Ireland and Britain - just merely pointing out that, like the article says, this kid is a well kept secret.
I'm looking forward to seeing him fight, and he seems like a very nice lad.

Re: Andy Lee
Im suprised he's regarded as a secret? He's had a fair few boubts over in the U.S...

Re: Andy Lee
Andy's a really nice guy, I trained in the same gym as him when he was still an amateur.
He was born in Limerick as were his parents, moved to England and returned to Ireland to learn to box aged 11 or 12.

Re: Andy Lee
