Best boxing lesson of this generation, PBF over Chico or JC over Lacy?

Other opinions are welcomed, but going into a virtual even fight these are the two best examples of an all out boxing lesson on their fellow opponents, both were pure 100% domination from bell to whistle, I have to give the advantage to Floyd because he KO'd his opponent, but Calazaghe simple destroyed Lacy, both boxers defeated the stronger stalker/brawlers.

Calzaghe put in a great performance against Lacy, but I think Floyd's performace against Corrales was more dominant.

That was as complete a boxing lesson as I've ever seen.

Can you narrow down what you mean 'Of this generation' a little more for me so I can narrow it down... :)

I'm not trying to argue semantics with you, but I don't think a fighter needs to be hurt for it to have been a boxing lesson. The jab is the most important punch in boxing.
And to clarify, by even fight you mean the way the fighters were viewed prior to the bout and not in retrospect, because Lacy and Corrales (as much as I loved watching him fight) have no where near the skills of PBF and JC.

Of course you have to look at it from the view PRIOR TO THE FIGHT because both of those fights had the boxing public split, forget 50/50 hindsight, going into these bouts they were both toss up fights with Lacy and Chico being the bigger stronger stalker/brawlers and PBF and JC being the more technical boxers. And both were as one sided as you can get. I simply don't know how you can compare a snooze fest such as Wright-Trinidad which was nothing more than a jab/sparing match to Calazaghe (Who at one point was landing 10 punch combinations) and PBF (who dropped his opponent 5 times and dominated every round). And why don't you think being hurt has nothing to do with anything, that is every boxers goal and mission when they step in the ring Vs their opponent. As far as PBF Vs Gatti very few people gave Gatti a chance and it was far from an even fight, in that case I could put 10,000 boxing lessons of the last 15 years

Because you said boxing lesson, not beat down or ass-kicking or anything like that. Wright-Trinidad was as much of a boxing lesson as JC-Lacy or PBF-Corrales, just because Tito was never hurt doesn't mean Winky didn't box his ass off. Winky pretty much shut out Tito, I don't understand how that isn't a boxing lesson. Obviously hurting your opponent plays a huge role in boxing, but I don't think you have to hurt someone to outbox them or to give them a "boxing lesson". Winky beat Tito as convincingly as a fighter can.

Wright over Tito - Was a masterfull performance and brilliant.
PBF over Chico - Was a stellar performance.
Joe over Lacy - Brilliance & Supremacy put together.
Lopez over Sanchez - Finito domiantes 'Nene' and captures title #2
RJJ over Telesco - Did Telesco even touch RJJ?
Lennox over Tua - Cat and mouse, the mouse NEVER even came close.
JCC over Haugen - He became just another cab driver.
Tszyu over Gonzalez - Tszyu at his finest most dominant performance.
SSM over Holiday - I gave Holiday 2 rounds and I was being nice to him.
Green over Jaidon - The shortest lesson of them all.
Mikkel over Librado - Exceptional performance by Mikkel.
Casamayor over Hernandez - Possibly Casa greatest performance.
JMM over Peden - Counter ALL night, Peden had no fucken idea what to do.

Good topic... I'd say as far as technical evaluation PBF over Chico has to take it over Joe's win over Lacy.. Just based on their form and not the fighters they were in against, imo. Both Corrales and Lacy were just perfectly suited to Floyd and Joe that night, either guy had their way 100%. But, like others have said, I think the fact that Floyd fought conservatively as always, and better defensively, yet dropped Chico 5 times and stopped him, says a little more as well. Of course Lacy could endure much more punishment p4p than Chico, so it's not really a given. As far as other possible contenders go, I say James Toney vs Iran Barkley deserves a HUGE mention, that it possible my favourite performance by any fighter, though I do love Toney's style. I would also consider Whittaker over Chavez on par with if not a better boxing lesson than either of the two suggested.

pbf over chico was more of a boxing lesson where as joe c over lacy was more of an EXPOSED intervention!
